Updating TAURI firmware with a USB flash drive
Last Updated 3 years ago

To update to the latest firmware via USB, here is the process:

Copy the update OTA zip file from the Aurora Customer Portal to a USB drive and plug it into the unit.

Swipe all the way from the left edge of the screen to the right edge of the screen, until a password prompt appears. Enter admin as the default password.

The device will now load, verify, and install the firmware. This will take approximately 5 minutes.

Note: If you are updating from firmware version 1.8.0 or earlier, you must set the TAURI to it's factory default configuration after the update finishes. See this knowledgebase article on how to load the tablet to the default settings.
